Love, spirituality, and compassion… Warrior stance?

warrior parent

We need to adopt a warrior’s stance against the dark.

You may dislike the use of the word warrior.  There are many who insist that spirituality, love, and compassion are incompatible with a warrior’s mind-set; that physical confrontation and are antithetical to the heart.  In fact, the warrior and the priest must walk side by side, as one ensures the survival and health of the other.

The acts of a warrior are many and varied.  Yes, warriors sometimes do bloody battle with the machines of war.  On the other hand, warriors are also parents who commit eighteen to twenty years of their lives to nurturing their children to independent, free-thinking adulthood.  Warriors volunteer time to community service programs and the learn the art of self-defense and emergency preparedness.  Warriors continually seek opportunities to grow and learn.  Warriors modify their lifestyles to promote and support the use of sustainable resources on this planet.

How are you a warrior in your own life?  Please share!

Choices of Energetic Response: Alignment

energetic-alignment

Alignment energy sits Northeast. This energy has to do with one-ness. In order to change anything, you must know the nature of the energy. In the dark, alignment becomes asleepness. When you exclude the energies of competition, opposition, and conflict to gain alignment at any cost, you become asleep to reality as it is. Complacency is often what motivates this form of alignment. It is easy to become part of the problem. You don’t want to be awake and aware, and so no new knowledge or information is taken in. The price of complacency is that you will not be alert to reality danger.

In the light, a warrior will use reconnaissance, strategy and tactics to ensure that he/she will be in alignment with Sacred Law and the worlds of Grandmother Earth. This requires a willingness to be spontaneous and flexible so you can move with the changes as they happen.

Mirror Dream

mirror

In the Southeast is the Mirror Dream. It is the imagination of dreaming. The Mirror Dream is the level of dreaming where extra-ordinary events occur: flying, walking through walls, telepathy, invisibility, etc. This is also the level where you become aware that you are in a dream, and can start to gain control of the dream and become the choreographer and director of the dream. As a Warrior, you are willing to open your closed symbols and confront your own dark force, as well as the collective dark force in the fifth dimension.  You take control of the dream (stand at cause) in order to gain knowledge of your Higher Self and your connection with the Everything, so that you may integrate this knowing into your “Awake Day Dream.”

Inspiration – Warrior’s Act of Power

dance-2033937_1280

“All power is hidden behind the veil of innocence and illusion. Succumb to illusion and you will become ill with self-importance. Accept innocence and step into the Child Spirit Shield, into the center of your own essence. Keep your attention there and do not be distracted, for this is the moment of power. In your left hand, hold experience and the maturity to be able to integrate that experience. In your right hand, hold immediacy and action. Taking responsibility holds the hands together. Power will give you the gift of wisdom through ‘catching minimal chance’. This is the Warrior’s Act of Power and worthy of your Attention.” ~ SwiftDeer

Great Work of the Soul

“For a man to conquer himself is the first and noblest of all victories.”

~ Plato ~

This is the great work of the soul.

Identifying patterns that no longer work is the first step.  Having the courage to change, to step into the unknown, to battle the inner pretense and pretender voices is the act of a Warrior!  Embracing change as a way of being is walking with Benevolent death, the little death that helps us to change, transform, and birth ourselves anew.  Embodying changes the soul is calling us to make moves us to be our Natural Self.

Everything changes except the fact that everything changes.  What are you going to do today, thus moment, to become more of who you truly are?

In each direction of the Warrior Attributes wheel, there are two attributes.  The first attribute carries the feminine energy and the second carries the masculine energy.  In each pair, you must have the feminine aspect mastered before you can step into and embody the masculine aspect.

The Warrior’s Attributes in the West are Power and Strength. Power is your ability to will something when you don’t have strength. Through the use of your will, you can access and utilize all of your resources. Strength is how much physical force you can demonstrate when lifting, running, or performing any exercises without experiencing a loss of orende (chi, ki, Prana, life force energy). It is the endurance factor of expended energy over time. Power and strength together create consistency and continuity in being at cause. The ability to choose the physical activities you want means you have good health.

Warrior Wednesday – Space and Distance

In each direction of the Warrior Attributes wheel, there are two attributes.  The first attribute carries the feminine energy and the second carries the masculine energy.  In each pair, you must have the feminine aspect mastered before you can step into and embody the masculine aspect.

The Warrior’s Attributes in the Southwest are space and distance. This refers to the gap between yourself and life’s experiences. When the action is happening and the cameras are rolling, space refers to how well you can stay open to the action and remain centered within yourself.

Distance refers to how close you will allow others (and life’s experience) inside your energy field. You will notice that a boxer constantly leads with short jabs, trying to gauge the space between himself and his opponent. When he determines the amount of space, he will know the distance he needs to cover in order to deliver his knock-down punch. When confronted with a closed symbol, do you need to create more space or close the gap in order to deal with it?

Refuge in the Warrior’s Way

lightning_1280

On some levels, we all have an awakening, a jolt, a “knock of spirit” that leads us to a Path with Heart or to a master teacher.  To take refuge in the warrior’s way is to acknowledge the possibility and probabilities of our own resourcefulness in light of the inspiration and motivation provided by our mentor(s).  Our refuge is our reference point to ever remind us of the truths of the Path we have chosen to follow.
