Twenty Count Tuesday – Souls of all Sacred Humans

hawaiian-hula-dancers-377653_1280

At the fifteenth power, the Souls of all Humans, we begin to dance for joy. We begin to see through the eyes and ears of all our brother and sister humans. As we see through their eyes and hear with their ears, we realize that they are like mirrors to us. In fact, everything around us, every Power within this Orchestra, is a mirror.  Each reflects back to us our own Inner Light. This reflection is carried on the Sacred Winds as the Songs of our Soul and we can see this Great Mirror reflected back to us from the East of Center of the Circle of Life. It sings the Gathering Together Circle Song and chants the Sacred Rainbow Chant of the SunDance Way.  It sings to us, little sister, little brother, the Look within Yourself Song. See the Beauty of All that is. Open our eyes and look around you and see the many mirrors and the many powers. Look into and through the eyes of even one brother or sister and you can see the Whole Universe!

We know deep within the interdependence, interconnectedness, interreliability of all the worlds, especially the human world.

Animal Medicine Monday – Opossum

possum-1802326_1280

Opossums are called the little heyoehkah, the sacred clown who teaches us to look at things upside down, inside out, and from multiple perspectives.  It teaches us how to trick ourselves into the light.  Because it is nocturnal, it is a shadow exposer.  If your intent is to see the light within your shadow, call of the medicine of the Opossum.

Warrior Wednesday

narrative-794978_1280

In each direction of the Warrior Attributes wheel, there are two attributes.  The first attribute carries the feminine energy and the second carries the masculine energy.  In each pair, you must have the feminine aspect mastered before you can step into and embody the masculine aspect.

The last pair of Warrior’s Attributes sit in the Southeast of the Wheel.  Our Attitude and Approach toward self, life, and others creates a frame for all of our concepts of self. At each point on the wheel, it is your attitude and approach which determine your choice of action, response, and evolution. Are you part of the solution or the problem? Have you been writing too many tragedies? Do you choose the light mirror dance or are you trapped in the web of darkness? With the proper attitude, you will know how to approach life to write the kind of story you want, whether it be a comedy, romance, or heroic epic.

Twenty Count Tuesday – Sacred Earth Father

Our hearts begin to soar like an eagle on the fleeting wings of time as we spin towards the North to become the Dance within the Wings of the fourteenth Power. We see that this fourteenth Power swims as the dolphin and carries us through the rivers of life, through the aeons of time.  This Power flows into the great Lake of Memory and is Earth Father. He teaches us the Dance of the Snake so that we might be close to the ground and hear the Songs of the Rock People.  He teaches us to dance with the four-leggeds through the flowers and trees so that we can hear the Songs of the Plant People. This is the world of magick. We feel the Medicine of the Sacred Chant called How to Fly as the Eagle and we realize that this is, indeed, the Sweet Medicine Chant. Within it are the Songs of the Spirits of all our Animal brothers and sisters on this Sacred Planet

Animal Medicine Monday – Otter

We are now in the month of the earth astrology totem of otter, with Aquarius being the complimentary sun sign.  Otter helps us to cleanse and purify our sacred waters, that is, all emotional states, blood, and lymphatic systems of humans.  They teach us how to play in our child shield (our inner little girl for women and inner little boy for men) and give with our heart.  The otter also protects men as they learn to deal with the energy of women’s moon cycles.

If you want to experience the joy of moving through frozen waters, even when frozen, check out the first few minutes of this PBS America show on the Otters of Yellowstone, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S_c_JOtZu4Q

Warrior Wednesday – Speed and Self-Growth

superhero-534120_1280

In each direction of the Warrior Attributes wheel, there are two attributes.  The first attribute carries the feminine energy and the second carries the masculine energy.  In each pair, you must have the feminine aspect mastered before you can step into and embody the masculine aspect.

In the East, the Warrior’s Attributes are Speed and Self-Growth. Speed refers to our way of learning. Do you learn slowly and with caution, at medium speed with full purpose and meaning, or fast, making changes on a regular basis? Self-growth is the determination of our spirit to actualize more of our potential, more of who we are truly meant to be. By continually developing and growing, you will gain whatever speed is necessary to move along your path with heart. How fast are you acquiring the five huaquas of health, hope, harmony, happiness and humor?

Twenty Count Tuesday – Sacred Earth Mother

rose-793759_1280 We seem to be playing faster now and more smoothly. We can no longer separate the Instruments from ourselves. We can no longer separate the sounds from the music. It is a part of us and this now seems natural. Deep within our heart we realize that the Song and the Dance have always been there and we sing for joy as we turn towards the South again. We begin to see and hear a sweet and gentle voice singing the beautiful lyrics of the Heart of the Plants. We realize that their Spirit is singing to us the Song of Nature. This is the thirteenth Power, our Earth Mother.  Her Song is beautiful for it carries the Light and the Spirit of all the Plants straight into the fibers of our Being. Her Song travels up the light paths of the umbilical cord of life and straight into our hearts. Hers is the beautiful Song of the Blessed Beauty Way Chant.

Animal Medicine Monday – Coyote

coyote_1280

The South Spirit Keeper, who guides your spiritual self-growth and development, in the Wheel of Allies is the Coyote. This gentle trickster teaches you about illusion and tricks you into the light by showing you your dark side with humor. As the south Spirit Keeper, Coyote is a teacher of trust, innocence, humor and love. S/he is also a teacher and protector of children and a master of disguise, camouflage and imagination. When you put on a coyote robe you can “see the world with a different eye”.
