Reflections: Seasons, Autumn

Season-autumn

The last of the harvest lies splendid in the fields
The baby is born
The family has been fed
And now…

Pausing, reflecting, and praying
We see, we release for we know…

As the fruit is harvested and taken out of the fields
What is born out of our womb is not ours to keep and hold
What we cook is eaten; what we clean is soiled again

The leaves fall from the trees
The winds come up to wipe the slate clean
Change is in the air
And so we listen, we learn and we prepare again.

Here are some suggested ways help embody the reflection of this season:

  • Visit a farmers’ market during the autumn when they spill over with harvest foods, falls colors, pumpkins and squash.
  • Delight in the smells; taste some homemade food; see what Nature has birthed and what farmers have gathered
  • Visit with yourself and review your abundance
  • What have you “birthed”? (There are many forms of babies – don’t limit yourself to physical babies only – creative projects, businesses, relationships, visions…)
  • Embrace, appreciate and then release them into the big circle of living.
  • Then go outside and feel the wind on your face
  • Ask, “What’s next for me? For what must I prepare at this time?”

Fifth Cosmic Law

cosmic 5

“Change Produces Chaos”

Chaos provides moments of power and evolutionary leaps.  We are wise to welcome chaos, not resist it.  Our willingness to change and to ride the waves of chaos will propel us much faster along our soul’s evolutionary journey.

Fourth Cosmic Law

“Movement Gives Change, and Change is Continuous and Inevitable”

This law governs the evolutionary process.  Without change, there would be stasis, and like stagnant water, stasis eventually produces death without hope of new life.

Choices of Energetic Response

Energetic response

No matter which Orende Law of Attraction we experience (repulsion, adhesion, cohesion, or change), we have four choices of energetic response: competition, opposition, conflict, or alignment. This is how we work with the energy that is present. They sit in the non-cardinals on the wheel. These choices of energy can be dealt with in the dark or in the light. Our attitude toward these choices makes the difference in the quality of their expression.

Orende Laws of Movement and Change

orende-change

The Orende Laws of Attraction are the qualities of energy and whether it attracts or repels. The factor that has the greatest bearing on each law is whether or not we, as humans, know the law and use it to come into alignment with the energy that is present.

The West of the wheel is called change. This energy law states very simply that change is inevitable. Change will happen! You can resist it, ignore it, or flow with it, but you cannot stop it. Change creates the chaos necessary for people and things to evolve into greater forms.

Controlled Dreaming, Soon to Be’s

stress-2051408_1280

In the West are the Soon to Be’s. The West is the place of form on this wheel. These are the “dreamers” who might be called small-time actors. They never star in any role, but show up in a lot of movies. They are competitive and controlled by their day to day scheduling. They are concerned about their tonal, monetary success. They are often victims of stress and do not deal well with change.

Controlled Dreaming

Whether you are a Nobody, a Have Made It or a Super Star is determined by you dreaming this dream called life the way you want it. This process is simple, but not easy. Your ability to switch your thinking slightly about who you think you are as a physical being in your body makes this process easier.

Most people think of themselves as a body which occupies space. We are rather a space within which resides a body. We are actually Magnetic Attracting Thought Spaces of energy (MATS) within the universe. Within our MAT, we dream an image of a physical body. Take a look at your physical body right now. Your body is here in this way because you dreamed it. It is a holographic image; our living book of life. The concept of dreaming your physical body the way it is, transfers over to the other aspects of your being. For example, if you are attached and co-dependent or have no creativity, this is so because you dreamed it into your awake dream reality. If you have abundance, a good relationship and are happy, this is the dream you’ve
been dreaming.

Many people don’t like reading this because it puts the responsibility for change squarely on their shoulders. From previous teachings, you know that 80% of what happens to you and the way you are is a response to pattern. Only 20% is minimal chance/chaos, i.e., the will of the Great Spirit.

Pay attention to what you focus your attention on! Keep moving your attention forward. The passage of time is a man-made illusion. Time is merely a reference point to identify where you are in space. You are a MAT in motion.

Over the next ten days, we will explore the categories of Controlled Dreaming.  It will give you the opportunity to identify where you spend most of your time.

Great Work of the Soul

sword-790815_1280

“For a man to conquer himself is the first and noblest of all victories.”

~ Plato ~

This is the great work of the soul.

Identifying patterns that no longer work is the first step.  Having the courage to change, to step into the unknown, to battle the inner pretense and pretender voices is the act of a Warrior!  Embracing change as a way of being is walking with Benevolent death, the little death that helps us to change, transform, and birth ourselves anew.  Embodying changes the soul is calling us to make moves us to be our Natural Self.

Everything changes except the fact that everything changes.  What are you going to do today, thus moment, to become more of who you truly are?
