7 Arrows – Rainbow Arrow of Introspection

symbol-772212_1280

By consistently picking up the second Light Arrow of Self-Appreciation, we break the 2nd dark arrow of dependencies.  We then gain the 2nd Rainbow Arrow of Introspection, which is the place of “going within” and listening to our body knowing. It is the place of death, change and movement.

It is also through our proper alignment with the four worlds of Grandmother Earth that we gain this Rainbow Arrow.  Introspection makes us aware of Grandmother Earth, the second Power of the Universe, and we feel the earth under our body. From the depth of introspection and intuition, we know that we are in relationship with all forms of life. Earth is our substance.  We experience the inter-connectednes, inter-reliability, and inter-dependence with all the worlds of Grandmother Earth.

7 Arrows – Light Arrow of Impeccability

Imagine what your life would be like with self-awareness, self-appreciation, self-acceptance, self-pleasure, self-love, and self-actualization?  With these six light arrows in place, picking up the 7th Light Arrow of Impeccability provides us with a concept of self-realization.

Selecting this arrow breaks the 7th dark arrow of Ego Self-Importance, that place where our buttons are pushed by the tyrants of life and we are caught in self-destructive patterns.

Picking up Impeccability takes us to the place inside ourselves where we know Warrior’s Freedom.  Here, we are never at the effect of anyone or anything, anywhere, anytime, in any way.  We choose to not take ourselves or life too seriously.  And we always follow the Maximum Efficiency with Minimum Effort law, which “simply put, this Law teaches us that we have choice and that our energy resource intake/expenditure dance can be choreographed by us in such a way that we are able to live a relaxed and focused life with enough fuel to do everything we need/want/desire to do!” (p. 5, The Thirty Sacred Laws, The Teachings of the Twisted Hairs Elders of Turtle Island, Volume II, Part I, The Universal and Cosmic Laws by Claudia Barner, PhD).

The 7 Light Arrows center us in our Dharma Circle, creating productive, pro-creative patterns so we can be At Cause.

Next we will explore the 7 Rainbow Arrows that are the basis for our Transformation Circle and the co-empowerment of self, life and others.

7 Arrows – Light Arrow of Self-Actualization

font-954949_1280

The 6th Light Arrow is Self-Actualization.  When we choose this arrow from our quiver, we say yes to a new concept of self-respect.  We become successful because we are having fun and finding pleasure doing exactly what we want, our heart’s desire.  We dream big and bring them to reality through our Self-Actualization!

Picking up this arrow breaks the 6th arrow of the Needy Child Syndrome.  Our identity is no longer dependent on an absolute need for love, recognition, acceptance, security and support from others as a way to define ourselves.

7 Arrows – Light Arrow of Self-Love

heart-462873_1280

Did you know that no matter what we do, how we act, or what we say, there are five human responses to any action?   Some people are going to love us, some will hate us, others may like or dislike us, and some are going not going to even care (be in neutrality).  When we base our actions on trying to obtain a like or love response, we pick up the dark arrow of expectations.

To break this dark arrow, all we have to do is pick up the Light Arrow of Self-Love.  When we love ourselves, we develop self-confidence in who we are, what we do, and what we say to the extent that any response we receive from others will not initiate our pretender voices, disrupt our balance, or propel us to pick up the dark arrows again.  With Self-Love, we develop and maintain a strong commander voice that reminds us of our beauty, strength, wisdom, shining, and all our other amazing aspects!

7 Arrows – Light Arrow of Self-Pleasure

heart-700141_1280

Who wouldn’t want to pick up the 4th Light Arrow of Self-Pleasure?  Loving self for pleasure’s sake is the concept of Self-Pleasure.  The foundation for this arrow is being self-aware, finding the value within and self-worth within the appreciate yourself, and increasing your self-esteem, knowing that this creates self-acceptance.

Picking up the Light Arrow of Self-Pleasure breaks the dark arrow of comparisons.  Our circle of self is so strong that we no longer need an external group identity support system to validate our judgments and separations.

Instead, our hearts are open because we have opted to experience the pleasure of self for the shear sake of pleasure!

7 Arrows – Light Arrow of Self-Acceptance

stamp-1966698_1280Remember, picking up the light arrows build on each other.  We cannot pick up the second arrow without picking up the first one.  And by the time we pick up the seventh Light arrow, we have picked up the other six before it.

The 3rd Light Arrow, which builds on having self-awareness and self-appreciation, is Self-Acceptance.  Choosing Self-Acceptance opens the door for our self-esteem to grow.  It allows us to ask ourselves at any moment or in any situation whether we did or are doing the best we can do based on what we knew/know.

Remember the 3rd dark arrow is judgements.  Often times we look backwards in time and judge our behavior or performance based on what we now know.   Or we judge and put others down so we can feel better.

Knowing deep within yourself that you have done the best you could, given what you knew at the time, provides a moment to take a deep breath, silence the internal pretender voices, and break the pattern of judging self, life, and others.

7 Arrows – Light Arrow of Self-Appreciation

man-1207687_1280

As we choose the light, centered within our own circle and aligned with all forms of all things, the 2nd Light Arrow we pick up is Self-Appreciation.

Once we choose to become Self-Aware (the 1st Light Arrow), we can create a strong internal concept of self.  Picking up the 2nd Light Arrow of Self-Appreciation provides a a concept of Self-Worth where we find value inside our self.  When we value and appreciate who we are in our uniqueness and individuality, we break the dark arrow of dependencies.  We no longer have the strong externally based wants that placed in the victim, persecutor, rescuer triangle.  We stand strong in our own circle, knowing our bottom lines, maintaining agreements with our self first, and then negotiating clear agreements with others.

7 Arrows – Light Arrow of Self-Awareness

idea-2009484_1280Remember LIFE IS A CHOICE; when something happens, WE CHOOSE OUR RESPONSE. This choice becomes our action and colors our perception of what continues to happen.  Do we choose the dark (as defined by another and caught off balance within our patterns of pain) or do we choose the light (centered within our own circle and aligned with all forms of all things)?

The 7 Light Arrows are ours for the choosing…  Choosing the Light Arrows breaks the Dark Arrows. Persist in this practice and one day you will discover that the Universe has placed the Rainbow Arrows in your quiver in the place of the Dark Arrows.

The 1st Light Arrow is Self-Awareness, which provides a concept of self, not defined by something external to us.  We are aware of our needs, our resources, what we know and what we don’t know, and when to ask for help. When we pick up this Light Arrow, we break the dark arrow of attachments, which had us attempting to meet needs that were not real by looking outside ourselves.

Can you identify the times that you have become self-aware and had a false need disappear?

ChuaTaKaMa means choreography of energy in motion. It is the key to this teaching. ChuaTaKaMa is broken down into three aspects — NEEDS, WANTS and DESIRES.

  1. CHUATA is the moment of choosing long-term pain for the sake of short-term pleasure. This choice is prompted by NEED. We all have certain basic reality needs, without which we truly suffer and need help to experience pleasure and beauty. They are food and water, tools and skills, shelter and clothing, healing and knowledge, free will and orgasticness.

Once these reality needs are met and we still claim to NEED something or someone, we are opting for pain rather than pleasure. These are the choice points that signal a necessary death experience. These are the emotional shock points necessary for maturation to occur.

  1. CHUAKA is the moment of choosing short-term pain for long-term pleasure. Recognizing emotional shock points for what they are, we re-interpret what we claim to need as WANTS. Rather than staying stuck in pain, we let go of the “need” and get ourselves moving out of the patterns of pain into greater self-reliance and pleasure. It is in these moments that we learn that death brings life.
  2. CHUAMA is learning through pleasure without pain. Having reached adequacy in reality needs and accessing life through our wants, ChuaMa leads us to ways that make DESIRES (dreams of beauty) come true. These are experiences of rebirth.

CHUATAKAMA is the proper use of all of our choices within a given resource circle of possibilities. Life is a choice: do we choose the dark (as defined by another and caught off balance within our patterns of pain) or do we choose the light (centered within our own circle and aligned with all forms of all things)?  Choosing the Light Arrows breaks the Dark Arrows. Persist in this practice and one day you will discover that the Universe has placed the Rainbow Arrows in your quiver in the place of the Dark Arrows.

Seven Arrows

quiver_1280When something happens, we choose our response. This choice becomes our action and colors our perception of what continues to happen.  We are the Bow. The Quiver of Arrows is our resource circle of choice in self-expression. The Target is ourselves, life and others. What arrows we shoot is determined by our attitude and approach to life.   We are both “she/he who will not see” (our Shideh or lower Self) and “she/he who is learning or has learned to see” (Hokkshideh or Higher Self). Which one is operating as we reach into the Quiver?

The Quiver is formed by our molding, sculpting and armoring. Simply put, this means that our resource circle is only as full and accessible as our life experience and process of self-development have made possible to date.  The Quiver contains three sets of seven Arrows: seven Dark Arrows colored by pain and reaction; seven Light Arrows colored by pleasure and responsibility; seven Rainbow Arrows which are the gifts of transformation and beauty. The latter are magickal arrows in that they are gifts to us from the Universe when we choose from the place of “learning to see”.
